Blue Cross CompanionCare

The option to enroll in BlueCross CompanionCare became effective February 1, 2017 and is available to retirees on an ongoing basis. However, there is a delay of 45-60 days for enrollment changeover and confirmation.

This option is a less expensive alternative to maintaining one of the Blue Shield PPO Plans.  The cost is $384/month per individual over age 65.
