The Benefits Office is responsible for providing high-quality administrative services of the District's fringe benefit programs including the following plans: health, dental, vision, life, workers compensation, short and long term disability. The Benefits Office works in close cooperation with insurance plan representatives to ensure effective service delivery for our eligible active and retired employees.
Reporting, monitoring and tracking of Workers' Compensation claims and employee leave programs (vacation, sick, extended sick, personal necessity, bereavement, FMLA and Catastrophic leave plans) is also handled in the Benefits Office.
