MJC East Campus

Campus Wide - Disability Access Consultants (DAC) Survey

Schedule: Beginning June 9th, may take several months
Area(s) Impacted: All public access and instructional spaces on MJC East, MJC West and Columbia College campuses.
Project Summary: DAC will be surveying all buildings, parking and paths of travel. The consultants will be taking measurements and photos of interior and exterior spaces, including YCCD staff offices and program spaces.
All DAC personnel will wear blue DAC branded shirts and have identification tags.
Annual Tree Maintenance

Schedule: December 15, 2025 to January 9, 2026
Area(s) Impacted: East Campus

Project Summary: Tree trimming and maintenance in various areas of the East Campus.
Gymnasium Floor Resurfacing (Facilities)

Schedule: Dec 29, 2025 to Jan 05, 2026
Area(s) Impacted: Gymnasium, Parking Lot 103, South Street parking, alley access surrounding gymnasium, Coldwell Avenue parking.
Project Summary: Resurface gym floor. Project being done in tandem with multiple other gym projects. Staff parking in areas surrounding the gym will be affected. (Photo below, in roof replacement project.)
Parking Lot 105 Removal and Replacement

Schedule: May 5th to August 22nd
Parking Lot will be closed during construction.
Area(s) Impacted: Parking Lot 105, Facilities Building
Project Summary: Repave parking lot 105; student parking will be affected.

Columbia College

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Schedule: December 2025 to January 2026
Area(s) Impacted: Manzanita and Oak Pavilion parking lots
Project Summary: Add 12 new electric vehicle charging stations.
