MJC East Campus

Campus Wide - Disability Access Consultants (DAC) Survey

Schedule: Beginning June 9th, may take several months
Area(s) Impacted: All public access and instructional spaces on MJC East, MJC West and Columbia College campuses.
Project Summary: DAC will be surveying all buildings, parking and paths of travel. The consultants will be taking measurements and photos of interior and exterior spaces, including YCCD staff offices and program spaces.
All DAC personnel will wear blue DAC branded shirts and have identification tags.
Parking Lot 105 Removal and Replacement

Schedule: May 5th, 2025 to March 1, 2026
Parking Lot will be closed during construction.
Area(s) Impacted: Parking Lot 105, Facilities Building
Project Summary: Repave parking lot 105; student parking will be affected.
Parking Lot 106: City of Modesto Improvements

Schedule: February 11, 2026 to February 25, 2026
Parking Lot will be open during construction.
Area(s) Impacted: Parking Lot 106
Project Summary: City of Modesto Improvements will result in the western row of parking spaces bordering Tully Rd. being blocked off during construction.
Campus Wide - Wayfinding Sign Installations

Schedule: Dec 2025 to March 2026
Area(s) Impacted: Various areas around east campus, as indicated on the map below.
Project Summary: Remove current map signage and install seven new map directories.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Schedule: December 2025 to March 2026
Area(s) Impacted: Manzanita and Oak Pavilion parking lots
Project Summary: Add 12 new electric vehicle charging stations.
