Campus Wi-Fi
The District provides wireless access for students and employees, to use with personal wireless-capable devices while on campus. To gain access, employees may use their YCCD Network Logon information.
Step-by Step Connecting Your Smart Phone to YCCD Wi-Fi:
- Start by accessing the Settings option.
- Press Wi-Fi and select the YCCD Network.
- Enter the Identify (User ID) and password.
For Students:
UserID: student
Password: 4wifi
For Faculty/Staff:
UserID: Your Network Login ID
Password: Your YCCD Network/E-mail password
- CA Certificate: Don't Validate
- Press Connect.
When the phone is connected, the Wi-Fi status icon appears atop the touchscreen. This icon indicates that the phone's Wi-Fi is on -- connected and communicating with the Wi-Fi network.
