Project Summary: Replace existing ramps at Founders/Forum and Library to lower slope. Install new ramp
at Student Center. Temporary ramps will be installed for access to library building
during construction.
Project Update:
June 9th, demolition work will begin, which includes saw cutting and jackhammering. This work
is expected to take one to two weeks.
Schedule: Building is open for instruction
Area(s) Impacted: Agriculture Complex, Parking Lot 102
Project Summary: Replace roof and HVAC system for Ag building. Building access will be restricted.
Surrounding buildings (Ag Nursery, Ag Store, etc.) will remain open.
Project Updates:
May 12th (Mon) and May 13th (Tue) abatement work will take place. No entry into the building is permitted while abatement is being performed.
Thursday, May 8th at 7 am a crane lift will impact two locations on the east and west sides of the building.
Entry to the building is not permitted during the lift.
Schedule: May 5th to August 14th; additional work in Sep/Oct
Entry to the Gym NOT PERMITTED during construction.

update lobby. Project being done in tandem with gym roof replacement and IT upgrades.

Project Summary: Replace HVAC unit for building.

Weds, May 7th a crane will be staged on the exterior south of the building; pedestrian and vehicle
traffic will be monitored for safety.

Project Summary: Repave parking lot 105; student parking will be affected.
Schedule: Beginning June 9th, may take several months
Area(s) Impacted: All public access and instructional spaces on MJC East, MJC West and Columbia College
campuses.
Project Summary: DAC will be surveying all buildings, parking and paths of travel. The consultants
will be taking measurements and photos of interior and exterior spaces, including
YCCD staff offices and program spaces.
All DAC personnel will wear blue DAC branded shirts and have identification tags.
Schedule: June 16th to August 31
Area(s) Impacted: District Office Staff Parking Lot 215
Project Summary: Repair solar array inverters.
Project Updates:
Friday, June 30th: starting on this date, portions of the parking lot will be blocked off to allow the
contractor to work on the solar array. The cordoned areas will change as the work
progresses.
Tuesday, July 22nd to Friday, July 25th the parking lot wil be closed for solar panel cleaning. This is not a power shut
down.
Schedule: May 5th to June 13th install; activation pending Aug 2025
Area(s) Impacted: Sierra Hall, Parking Lot 207
Project Summary: Install eight dual port EV charging stations.
Project Updates:
Friday, May 30th from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. an electrical tie-in will affect power to Ansel Adams, El Capitan, Tenaya Automotive,
Tenaya Building B, Tenaya Welding, Irrigation and fire panels/alarms.
Schedule: July 11th to September
Project Summary: Additional parking to current lot (behind gate) and additional ADA features (curbs,
access, signage).
