OPEN ENROLLMENT 2018-2019

Once a year, the District's medical plans provide for an annual "Open Enrollment Period" during which any active employee or enrolled retirees may change their medical plan and add or terminate any eligible dependents (some documentation may be required).

The OPEN ENROLLMENT PERIOD for this year is now closed.

Changes to plans will become effective October 1, 2018.

RETIRED EMPLOYEES:

- Retirees - OVER 65 with Medicare A/B (ALL parties)

IMPORTANT CHANGES for Retirees with Medicare A/B and Blue Shield:  Retirees who are Medicare Eligible will be automatically enrolled in a 100% plan.  The 100-G plan is for retirees over 65 who were formerly on the 80G or 80-G plans.  The 100-A plan is for those retirees over 65 who were formerly on the 90% or 100% plans.  There are also changes in your Prescription Plan as you will automatically be enrolled in a Medicare D Plan.
