Wireless Setup Instructions for Windows Vista

The following steps should enable you to connect securely to the YCCD Wireless network at Modesto Junior College and Columbia College. You should only have to follow these steps the first time you access the wireless network.

 

Step 1 - Click on the wireless network icon in the system tray, then click Connect to a network.

 

 

Step 2 - Click the YCCD network, then click Connect.

 

 

Step 3 - Click Enter/select additional log on information.

 

 

Step 4 - The following Enter Credentials window should appear.

Students - For User name enter student, for Password enter 4wifi. Logon domain can be left blank.

Staff/Faculty - Enter your YCCD username and password.

 

 

Step 5 - Click Enter/select additional log on information

 

 

Step 6 - Click OK to accept the certificate.

 

 

Step 7 - After a slight delay the following window will display. Click Close, leaving both check boxes checked.
