Step 1. Retrieve your e-mail account information.

  1. For Columbia College students: Click this link to log into ConnectColumbia to retrieve your user ID and temporary password. The ConnectColumbia Main menu will display.
    For Modesto Junior College students: Click this link to log into PiratesNet to retrieve your user ID and temporary password. The PiratesNet Main menu will display.
  2. Click the Current Students link (you may need to maximize the screen to view the Current Students link).
  3. Click the Log In tab.  The Current Student Log In form will display.
  4. After logging in, click the Submit button.  The Current Students menu will display.
  5. Under the Communication heading, click the Student Email Activation link. The Student Email Activation form will display.
  6. Important: Write down your student e-mail account ID and temporary password information located at the bottom left side of the window. You must have this information to continue. 
  7. Click the Submit button. The Current Students menu will display.
  8. Click PiratesLink under the Communication heading.  The Windows Live Sign In form will display.
  9. Click the Activate Account link at the top of this page or click the Activate Account link at the bottom right side of this window to continue this step-by-step process.
