How To Reset Your Password

(IMPORTANT: You must first activate your account in order to reset your password. So you can reset your password automatically, during activation you are required to provide an alternate email address and setup secret question/answer.)

  1. Click the Forgot your password link below the Sign In button box on the Windows LIve sign in page. Or you can reset your password at:
    https://account.live.com/ResetPassword.aspx . The Reset your password page will display.
  2. Click in the Windows Live ID field and type in your YCCD/Windows LIve Student E-mail Account.
  3. Click the Continue button button. The Reset your password page will display.
  • For location information and secret answer option, enter the requested information and follow the steps to complete the process.
  • For Send password reset to e-mail instructions option, choose Alternate email and follow the steps to complete the process.

2. Click the Continue button button and complete the steps.
