Welcome to the Department of Information Technology
The Information Technology Department for the Yosemite Community College District is dedicated to providing state of the art technology district wide which includes Columbia College and Modesto Junior College.
Information Technology objectives includes:
- Assessing the technological needs of the District annually.
- Evaluating the results of the annual assessment to identify and prioritize the technological needs for continuous improvement.
- Facilitate implementation by aligning human and financial resource allocations according to the assessment and prioritization of the technological needs.
- Develop and formalize systematic communication channels for technological needs district-wide.
About the Vice Chancellor:
Gina began her career at YCCD as an adjunct instructor teaching Computer Science courses where later she became a full-time Professor of Computer Science/Computer Information Systems in the Business, Behavioral & Social Sciences Division. In 2002 Gina was promoted to Dean of Business, Behavioral & Social Sciences and later served as the interim Dean of Instructional Services. In 2005 Gina was promoted to her current position as Vice Chancellor of Information Technology.
