Welcome to the Department of Information Technology
The Information Technology Department for the Yosemite Community College District is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art technology.
Information Technology objectives include:
- Assessing the technological needs of the District annually.
- Evaluating the results of the annual assessment to identify and prioritize the technological needs for continuous improvement.
- Facilitate implementation by aligning human and financial resource allocations according to the assessment and prioritization of the technological needs.
- Develop and formalize systematic communication channels for technological needs.
About the Assistant Chancellor:
Gina Rose began her career at YCCD in 1988 as an adjunct instructor teaching Computer Science courses. She became a full-time Professor of Computer Science/Computer Information Systems in the Business, Behavioral & Social Sciences Division. In 2002 Gina was promoted to Dean of Business, Behavioral & Social Sciences and later served as the Interim Dean of Instructional Services.
In 2005 Gina was promoted to her current position as Assistant Chancellor of Information Technology.
