Facilities Planning & Operations
The Facilities Planning and Operations Office provides support to the Colleges and Central Services to plan and construct facilities to meet the needs in under-built instructional and operational space. The department facilitates coordination between Operations, outside contractors and college staff for all construction projects including schedules maintenance, hazardous substance removal, and removal of temporary World War II buildings. The Facilities Planning and Operations Office also coordinates District efforts in pursuit of commercial development of property on the West Campus identified for that purpose by the Board of Trustees.
